My own bar

Before I tell this conversation between my son and me, let me clarify something first. Our local bar in our town, in the time I have lived here, has done special activities for the kids. Once they gave the kids there own Christmas party and have let children come for Halloween for trick or Treat.

While driving down Main Street and passing the local bar........

Kat- "how come there bar is not opened"?

Me- " because its only open during certain days and hours. Like the weekends and open only after supper till after midnight".

Kat- "why"?

Me- "well because they can't be open during work hours....no one would go".

Kat- " well I want daddy to take me back there".

Me- "why"?

Kat- " because I like going to my bar".

Me- " well Kat, the bar only did fun activities a few times for the kids and not sure when and if they will do it again".

Kat- " well, I will make my OWN bar. I will make my own bar. I will do it and have my friends come over to MY bar. You will have to help my make my bar the WAY I want it to be. You will have to do it my way.

Me - "really".

Kat- "I will also stop going to school so I can work on making my bar, so all my friends can come and hang out and have fun".

Me- "no you will not stop going to school so you can stay home and make your own bar. You have to stay in school and finish school. You can do that when you are not in school.

Kat- "ok, but I am still going to make my own bar".
