New Year Coming

Well this may be my last blog of the year as not much is happening. Our family had a great Christmas. Our son woke up to use the bathroom but didnt make it there, Instead he came back running up stairs and stormed through our room to state that Santa had came and left him a not which he wanted to have read right there and than, Being 630am in the morning I had told him to go and pee and go back to bed for one more hour and he did do that. When the hour was up he came back to my room and demanded that he note be read but still I made him wait some more. As we also want him to always remember Jesus at these times we sang to Jesus for his birthday and we read two books on his birth. Than I read the note. Santa had asked him to look after his bell that kept falling and that he couldnt fix it. So Santa gave our son one of his bells with a nice white ribbon on it. The rest of the morning was wondering watching our son open presents from santa and mommy and daddy. We watch good old Christmas movies and went over to our friends for dinner. So no cooking for me this year. We all had a lovely time and memories.

Elf On The Shelf

We got our visitor. His name is Crispy. He is a bit late but here at last.

He places himself in a new place everyday. He goes back to the North Pole every night to report to Santa on how well our son is doing and comes back before we all get up.

Come back and see where else he places himself in our house.

Our Loss (R.I.P Coco)

On Sunday December 16th we are sadden by our loss of Coco.

Coco got really sick and veterinarians could not find out why.

All three of them were puzzled and looked through textbooks, online and even got in touch with college professors to figure out why.

They thought he had a blockage, Addison Disease and an obstruction. All of these things were ruled out after he had surgery.

When they did do the surgery they had a look at the liver, pancreas, and the kidneys. All of them looked fine. The liver may have looked a bit abnormal but that was due to him being sick for so long.

The veterinarian said that he is now leaning more to the thought that Coco had a type of cancer. Very rare in very young dogs like Coco but he couldn't think of anything else.

R.I.P Coco.

We love you so very much and miss you greatly. Our home is not the same without.

What is going to come first.......

What is going to come first. The Tooth Fairly or Santa Clause. Only time will tell. Stayed tuned for pics and the answer when it happened. Hopefully sooner than later.

I had a talk with the Tooth Fairy if she could bring something special as it is close to Christmas just for this tooth only as it is his first tooth.

Kids and loose teeth.

What is it with kids and loose teeth? In my son's classroom everyone is loosing their teeth. My son is so excited to loose his first tooth that he tells me everyday that he has a loose tooth and goes with his hand and tries very hard to wiggle a tooth that is not ready. This has been on going for about two weeks now.

Just today he showed me he teeth again and pointed out that he had a loose tooth and what do you know he really does have a loose tooth.

Not only does he have a loose tooth he has two loose teeth. It's the teeth that are on the bottom.

Looks like the Tooth Fairy will be visiting soon. Maybe because it is so close to Christmas the Tooth Fairy will leave something special besides money.

Our Son's thoughts on Santa

Our son has now started to tell us a few things about Santa.

1- he doesn't want him to come and bring him presents because he only wants us to bring him some.

2- He doesn't want Santa to come because he doesn't want to be woken up by the Reindeer when they land on the roof.

3-He claims that he will stay up all night to wait for santa and catch him coming down our wood stove and putting presents under the tree.

Our son has been and needs to work on having patience. Santa seems to have figure this out as he came by our home early this year and dropped of a few gifts for our son.

Our son and I were not home just daddy. Daddy said that Santa told him that our son couldn't open any until Christmas Day.

When our son saw that he came he didn't believe until i check the mail today because I forgot to do it yesterday and there was a letter for santa that came yesterday when he dropped by.

Now our son believes.

Our Winter So Far

So far we only had two big snow falls. The first one, the snow didn't last long. It melted away just as fast as it came down. This second snow fall seems to be staying with us.

I hope it snows some more.
