surprises

My son likes to shock me and surprise me.

Just when I am about to think that my child may need extra help when he goes to school as I ask him for the hundredth time what is the color of something and I had told him dozens of times what it is and he still doesnt give me the right answer I wonder.

I have been working on numbers and letters and weather and days of the week with my son this past month. So far my son is beginning to write his name and is starting to draw a person with a head. eyes, a mouth, and arms and legs coming out of the head. Its cute.

Today at First Steps (a mother and child program where you go and hang out and have a half day structure class with snack (a free service)) my son and I were building a boat as its transportation theme he grabs letter stickers and grabs a K. He runs to me and says,"Mommy letter k like me Kat". Than I had pointed the rest of the letters in his name and he was able to tell me the letters in his name. At home I asked him to spell his name to me and he did.

Now I have a question. I am very proud of him but WHERE in the world did he learn this from

Weird weather for Stewart BC

Well, I am sure that Stewart bc has really weird weather.

I can rain for days than snow really heavy than rain for more days and snow for more.

This happening so much that the only one road out of here has been closed due to avalanches happening that blocks the road completely.

Never had any of this in Montreal. In a weird way for me it is kind of fun and interesting. Doesnt bother me at all.

Its been said that this only happens in the months of Jan and Feb only.

With all this rain, snow and rainsnow I wonder how the summer is going to turn out for us.

Goodbye Snow

Well the rain has come and it is planing on staying for awhile.

Goodbye snow it was nice to have you for a day. Hope to see you soon. At least I have memories of you of when you came and stayed for a day.

Going coming going gone

Well I got the snow I wanted. The last two days it snowed a lot. It was very nice to see all of the snow. But today, NNnnnOOOooo it is raining. Its pouring. NNnnooooo I dont want this rain. They are calling for rain the next three days and this coming week it is calling for a week of rain. 80mm+ to be exact. This means that all of the nice fresh snow we got is going to be gone gone gone.

I love all this snow. I dont want the snow to go away or be gone.

Dear God, If you can hear me, GIVE ME SNOW not RAIN!!!! Amen

darn cold here in stewart

Well I have been told the last 1 1/2 years that it snows a lot here and it never gets cold.

Last year we were lucky if we got 4 feet of it. This year we got less than than that. Than got a good load of snow and we got rain. It rained so much that it melted all the snow we got and some more.

Now it is just bloodly cold outside and it is like -20 with the windchill.

So where is this famous snow fall that we are suppose to get and this mild winter.


I have looked on the weather network and it says it is suppose to snow next soon for three days in a row with 30cm of snow all together or more. Yeah right, I will believe it when I see it.

All I am asking is to give us lots of snow. TO, London, N.S, Montreal, etc. I can go on with other cities that are getting all of our snow that we should be getting and they are getting it when they never do.

I WANT SNOW...... I WANT SNOW!!!!!

Kids say cute things

On the night of New Years eve, after coming home from a friends home after bringing in the New Year I was getting my son ready for bed and I started to hear fire works outside. Living in a small town people use fire works more often for celebrations. When hearing them I brought my son outside with me to see the fire works holding him in my arms. When he notice the fire works after pointing them out to him she asks me, "Mommy, why stars falling in sky"? It was to cute that I had to laugh as I explained to him that it as not stars but fire works.

To A New Year

Wecome 2011, Your finally came.

Well my family had a year full of ups and downs and challenges.

We finalized our adoption with our son who is now 3 1/2 years old.

We move acrossed the country for my husband job and now live in a beautiful place that is breathtaking.

We started the process of adopting another child and got our home study done and now we are awaiting for it to be approved.

We bought a new truck. Got a dog.

Now we await for our home study to go to the commity to be approved and than to be put on the waiting list.

So heres to a new year.
