Fire Bug
I love to look at fires. I am not an insane person that goes around setting fires and gets a thrill I just love to see them is a safe way. My husband took these photos of our fire in our fire stove that gives us heat besides our oil heating. Camp fires are nice to look at too and we can have that too in our back yard in a fire pit. We all ready had one but can't wait to do more in the summer.

Salty Dog Docks
As my title says that is the name of the docks here in Stewart and it is also salt free even though we are connected to the ocean. This is because we have fresh water and salt water that come together and it never freezes. This is such a nice place to come and take pictures on a sunny day or to go and fish off the docks. You can also set up traps and fish for King Crab, Shrimp, and other sea food criters that live in these parts.
My son loves to come down here and tell me how little fishies (fish) live in the wawa (water).
Here are some pics of the docks.

The Bord Walk
We have a really nice bord walk in here town. It is not a very long walk but a beautiful one. You can see some very interesting things and sometimes smell the ocean. Yes we are connected to the Pacific Ocean. Even though we are not directly at the ocean we are close enough to be able to smell it. We have fresh water and ocean water that connects to one another. At the only docks here where you can keep your boat the place is called "Salty Dog Docks" The salt free/ ice free docks. But back to the bord walk here are some pics of it.

Time at the Park
Every park has it differences. I came from Montreal where the parks near my home where huge and amazing and had a lot of different things to play on and a water play splash for the summer. It is very rare to find a park that looks more like a playground that is attached to a camping site, and if you did there wouldn't be much of a playground in most places.
Here though where I live in Stewart, there is a play ground that is attached to a campsite and still has a lot of different play equipment to play on. Even a river that you can spot salmon in the summer months. The only thing we got to be careful of is the BEARS as we all know bears love fish.
But it is a really nice place to go with your children and play.
After a long 2 hours at the park, lunch with mommy at a restaurant, a walk on the board walk, getting the mail and going home, my little guy feel asleep in his Chariot and when I carried him in and lied him on the floor to sleep he stayed in one position. Take a look.

Amazing
My husband and I can't believe how fast our little man is growing up so fast from the time we got him to now.
Just with all that he says and does. He will point at something and tell us what that is for and we are stuck trying to figure out where he learnt it.
He words are building up everyday and just looking at his face we can tell that everyday he is less of our baby boy but more our little man.
My husband just asked me today "can you believe that our boy was just a baby not to long ago when we got him", and my answer is usually nope. :)
He brought and brings us joy each and everyday to us and everyone around him.

AAaaaaHhhhh The Beauty of This Place
You know the drive to my husband's work is not that far. In fact you can walk there by foot and it's really a beautiful walk. I have decided the other day that I was going to walk there by foot and see what I saw when I drove by.
It's funny how things look more outstanding when you take it slow and really look at what you see when walking.

Had A Good Laugh
Today we went to Bear River to hang out. A little small river that had some snow cover parts. We let the dog loose to run around and Kat had fun throughing rocks in the river. Saw some paw prints of some animal but not sure what it was. Shawn took a small walk to look under the bridge and saw what someone wrote there. Have a look at one of the pics. So far the people we told had a god laugh.
Some of the other pics that I took was road signs for fun. I still can't get over on how beautiful this Province really is.
Enjoy this pics.
