Black Bears
Now that spring is here and we are in bear country we see black and brown bears when we drive into down. Here is a black bear that was not to far off in the distance from a rest stop with bathroom. These pictures I took myself. I was no more than 30 feet away from this bear in my truck taking these photos.

The kermode bear
This bear is really rare to see. If you do see one you are very lucky to have seen it. I saw my Kermode Bear just 1h30 away from Terrace BC (that is driving towards Terrace from Stewart BC).
The Kermode bear is also known as the "spirit bear", is a subspecies of the American black bear. The stuffed bear in the glass show case is in the Terrace BC airport.
I am told I will more than likely never seen a Kermode bear again in my life because that is how rare it is. I am sure lucky I got to see one. They say see this kind of bear is just as rare as seeing an Albino Moose, and yes it really is real, my friend has seen one and taken photos of it.

The Bus
Yes this is an old school bus that was turned into a seafood express in the summer. As you can see in the winter the Bus is closed. The locals say that if we got the amount of snow that we should of the Bus would of been total covered in snow.
But in the summer the Bus serves fresh fish with chips and drinks. Good food, ok portions (to us but other the portions was great) and the price depends on who you ask.
It is pretty neat though to eat here. The whole family ate here when it Opened up on Mother's day this year and we enjoyed it.
If anyone is reading this and is traveling to this end of the world you have to come out and try the Bus.
