Something I found on the internet from an animal adoption agency, where we are planning on getting a dog
TEN COMMANDMENTS OF A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER
1. My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me - it is crucial for my well being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment. I HAVE ONLY YOU!
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice when it's speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I'LL NEVER FORGET IT.
7. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food. I've been out in the sun too long, or my heart may be getting old and weak.
9. Take care of me when I get old. You too, will grow old.
10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, "I can't bear to watch it" or, "Let it happen in my absence. "Everything is easier for ME if you are there. Remember, I love you.
Things We Can Learn From A Dog...
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride,
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps and stretch before rising.
Run, romp and play daily.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
Be loyal, Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...run right back andmake friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Beautiful Stewart BC
I have finally made it here safe and sound.
It is so beautiful here. Everywhere you look you see mountains, and more mountains. It looks exactly like the pics I put up here a few blogs ago.
The town is tinny and news travels fast in this town.
My family's goal is to stay here for ever if we feel the same in two years from now we plan on buying our first home here.
Will post pics as soon as I can.
We made it safely but our car did get damaged a bit as we slide on some black ice and our trailer whiped lashed our car. No one was hurt well except me, I got bad tension in my right shoulder area but that is about it. But our car has a nice little dent in it. Pics to come.

I Finally get to leave Montreal, YEAH
Don't take me wrong, Montreal is a really nice place to visit. It is a beautiful place in the summer with tons of things to do. You cannot get bord in Montreal even in the winter time.
But when I moved here it was only supposed to be for 2years at the most. But I ended up finding my husband here and we have been here for 8 years.
We are taking a big move across the country and I cannot wait. But it has not really hit me yet. I dont feel like I am moving that far. I feel like I am just moving across town.
I dont think it's going to hit me until I am on the plane and I am going there or it may not hit me until I am in my new home and seeing the beauty all around me.

Finally Goodbye COLD
I have been coughing and sneezing for a month, with a blocked nose at night, and bad congestion for a long time. On top of that last night my throat was sore to touch. I decided to go see the doc and miss a day of work and see if I can get some medicine.
I finally got some. I can get better finally.
I might call in for tomorrow as well as I still dont feel 100% and really need the break from all of my moving. packing life.
enjoy the pics of Stewart BC.

A week and a half to go
There is only a week and a half to go before going off on my big move across the country.
My husband got a job as a Border Service Officer and accepted a job in a remote area with only 500 people (actually its a bit less than that). But we are near an ocean and big beautiful mountains.
I just cannot wait to go. It will be like camping all year round.
Will post pics as soon as I can.
The town's people say that you can really see bears walking in your back yard in the evening and even see dears and other wild life. Ah, what a great place to raise your children where they can see and learn with hands on lessons on what a beautiful place they live.
